Julia has been recognised annually in the Spears Top Recommended Art Advisors Index since 2022 and was listed in the Private Client Global Elite Directory from 2022 - 2024 as one of 150 specialists selected by peers for their expertise within the private wealth sector.
Before founding her advisory practice, she spent two decades working within public institutions in the UK. During this time she built and managed modern and contemporary art and craft collections of regional and national significance, developed a pioneering corporate collectors network, led artists and curatorial residencies and established national and international gallery partnerships. Today, Julia advises private collectors, family offices, corporate clients and artist estates in the UK and internationally on acquiring, managing and selling modern, post-war and contemporary art, spanning emerging artists through to established blue-chip names. Alongside her advisory practice, Julia is a qualified appraiser. She is an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), and a member of the institute of Art and Law. She currently serves as Chair of the Collections Advisory Committee at the Crafts Council, London.
